A smoother road into Xyra
Advice from a veteran of the Xiah community helped simplify the way in. The one-file installer, patch notes and saved-account sign-in are here; signing is still ahead.
The interesting part of Xyra should start at character select, not in a folder of setup files. A veteran of the Xiah community shared advice about the hurdles he has seen players face with older private servers: extra fonts, separate .NET installs and registry files.
What is easier now
The Windows launcher has a one-file installer. It also has Patch Notes and an Events box, and saved accounts can take you straight to character select through a one-time sign-in pass. The wiki is live with more pages on the way.
From our team
We are a small team rebuilding Xiah, and this kind of community knowledge helps us choose what to improve next. Signed downloads are still on our list; until then, Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning.
Small details
- The launcher keeps saved passwords in the computer’s secure password store.
- If automatic sign-in cannot finish, the regular login screen opens with the password field empty.
